2025 Events and activities

This year Transition South Barwon is offering a new series of seminars and events as part of the project Transitioning to a Sustainable Community that addresses climate change challenges. The project aims to increase the community’s knowledge, skills, resilience and connection encouraging everyone to contribute from their capacity with small but meaningful and powerful changes towards living more sustainably.

The events for this year include:

These events are free to the community proudly run by our volunteers in partnership with the Grovedale Neighbourhood House and funded by the Environmental Sustainability Grant from the City of Greater Geelong.

Additionally, we conduct our monthly working bees and casual workshops at the Grovedale Community Orchard (next to the Grovedale Scouts) every first weekend of the month. We welcome all community members and families to join and meet the community in a safe space dedicated to sharing knowledge, developing skills and spending time in contact with nature.
